As a professional Couture dressmaker, and costume maker, theatre dresser and wedding dresser of over 25 years, I'm pretty good with an iron and have a industrial steam iron in my workroom.

 I've found that  since we have all been using the magic of amazon, and buying directly from the manufactures, great for them , great for us on costs, but the middle part, the shop, who's job it was to take the vacuum packed gowns,  steam them, so they look flawless and new had been lost.

 People have been getting dresses online and not been happy with how they look, this is often as they just need a good press and steam, but we are often not confident enough to do this ourselves, or lacking in space and equipment.

I love to make dresses and other clothing look their best by giving them a good steam and press, possibly some light fitting adjustments, an art that was once normal, had been forgotten, mass production is great, but not all bodies are the same, a small strap tweak, nip here, hem up or down make a big difference. 

If you've ordered a wedding dress, prom dress etc, and need an experts safe hands to give it a once over, this service is priced at £15 per 15 min, or £50 p/h, and can make all the difference to an online vacuum packed garment.
